Free Supply of Stationary for SC/ST/OBC/MIN 2014-15 :
Eligibility Criteria :
1. Free Supply of Stationary to SC/ST/OBC/MIN. students studying in class Ito Vlll & Class lXto XII of Delhi Govt.School/recognized schools in Delhi.
2. The student should not have less than 70% attendance in previous academic year (Class II toXll)
3. Family income should not exceed 2,00,000/- p.a. (self certified income certificate) as per format given with the application form will be required.
4. The applicant belongs to the Minority communities should be resident of Delhi fo rthe past three years and should submit proof thereof like EPIC card, Adhar Number, Ration Card, Land line telephone bill of MTNL, Driving License issued by GNCTD and Domicile Certificate issued by SDM in Delhi or Pass Book of Nationalized Bank.
5. The applicant should submit attested copy of Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued in the name of student or his father's name by SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Domicile Certificate of Delhi if the caste (SC) certificate is not issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi is required.
6. In case of minority student, declaration by parent/guardian in the form of an affidavit (in Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 10/-) that his Son/Daughter belongs to particular Minority Community.
7. Bank Account should be in the name of the student (Joint Bank Account With parent/Guardian is also permissible) and Proforma of Bank detail should be verified by the Concerned Bank/Branch Authority.
Attention :
SC/ST/OBC/Minority students of class i to xii of all government/ Aided/recognized public schools affiliated to directorate of education/kendriya Vidyalaya (in delhi only) /national open school/school affiliated to ndmc/delhi Cantonment board, east delhi municipal corporation, north delhi municipal corporation And south Delhi municipal corporation
Rates Of Financial Assistance :
Class I“ to Class VIII'“- Rs. 1000/-Per Annum Class IX'“ to Class XII'“ -2000/- Per Annum
How To Apply :
(a) The application forms can be downloaded from the website of the Department i.e. www.scstwelfare.delhigovt.nic.in.
(b) Eligible students studying in school affiliated to NDMC may submit their form of Head of Schools/Principal who in turn may submit the consolidated proposal in the prescribed proforma as well as soft copy to Dy. Education Officer (General), Dept. Of Education, Palika Kendra, Sansad Marg, New Delhi who is the Nodal Officer in the matter.
(c) Eligible students in Government/Govt. Aided School affiliated to Dte. Of Education may submittheirforms to Head of Schools/Principal who in turn may submit the consolidated proposal in the prescribed proforma as well as soft copy to District concerned. The Dy. Director of the District may in turn submit the consolidated proposal in the prescribed preformed as well as well as soft copy to Dy. Director (Planning). Old Patrachar Building, Timparpur, New Delhi who is the Nodal officer in the matter.
(d) Eligible Students studying in school affiliated to Delhi Cantonment Board may submit their forms to Head of School/Principal who in turn may submit the consolidated proposal in the prescribed proforma as well as soft copy in the Office of Chief Executive Officer, Delhi Cantonment Board, Delhi Cantonment, Delhi-110010 who is the nodal officer in the matter.
(e) Eligible students studying in School, affiliated to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan may submit their application form to Head to School/ Principal who in turn may submit the consolidated proposal in the prescribed proforma as well as soft copy in the office of Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Delhi Region, JNU Campus, New Delhi who is the Nodal officer in the matter.
(f) Eligible students studying in Recognized Public School/National Open School and other schools approved by Government but not falling under any of the category above may submit their forms to Head to School/ Principal who in turn may submit the consolidated proposal in the prescribed proforma as well as soft copy along with the complete application forms along with the relevant document to Dy. Director (SC/ST/OBC/Min.), Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minority, B-Block, 2nd Floor Vikas Bhawan, lP Estate, New Delhi-110002 immediately or latest by 10.09.2014
(g) The scholarship will be awarded as per order/Notification/Circular issued by GNCT of Delhi from time to time.
Note :
The Head of School mentioned above at (b) to (f) will keep application of the students and other supporting documents such as attested copy of caste certificate, previous class mark sheet, self declaration, affidavit etc., for their record which may be checked by this Department any time.
Other Conditions :
** Individual applications shall not be entertained. Head of School must ensure that no eligible SC/ST/OBC/MIN student is left out and consolidated list of students in the prescribed proforma should be sent to concerned office indicated above. The Nodal officer of the concerned department/organization should forward the complete proposal (in soft copy as well as hard copy as per prescribed proforma which may be downloaded from the website of the department) to Dy. Director (SC/ST/OBC/MIN), B-Block, 2nd Floor, Vikas Bhawan, IP Estate, New Delhi-110002 on or before 10.09.2014.
** Application/proposals received after the last date will be rejected summarily. On the forwarding letter the name of scheme should be clearly indicated.
