To create a nation of skilled citizens especially youth and encourage their active engagement with the Government for nation building, the MyGov site calls for suggestions on developing employable skills.

The 'Skill Development' group seeks bold ideas, suggestions on concrete policies and initiatives to keep pace with the changing trends and help youth enter job market.

Since the launch, more than 49,000 members have joined the group.

More than 9,000 members have shared their opinion on youth as the new age power for nation building. Many people have emphasized on giving a boost to education system for nurturing and creating talent.

The members have also shared valuable opinion on importance of skill development for taking the nation forward in the 21st century.

** Corporate social responsibility scheme if performed more effectively by organizing skill development centres in nearby colleges relating to the company's stream.
** While access to education has comparatively improved in Urban India, skill development and refinement is an area that needs immediate attention. With skill development and refinement people become employable. We can start skill development initiatives in small groups in our locality. Conduct English Coaching, Refresher courses for Engineers or other Graduates who have been unemployed for more than 1yr. Interested individual can get together and start locally.
** Provide more practical education from the root level and encouraging the youth to do new researches.

Engineering applications to medical and biological science are growing in every branch of health care ,but unfortunately BioMedical Engineers from Indian university are not eligible to apply for jobs in PSU and not eligible for IES exams.They are compelled to go abroad and work there it is a national loss .

My suggestion to improve education standard in higher education are:
(i) Principals should be selected through PSC, because a person who got a job without doing anything he/she gets promotion and become principal without doing any educational effort and after being principal he/she passe time.
(ii) After calling in interview board must select eligible candidate. Most of universities/Institutions announce posts conduct interview but they do not select any candidate. They wait for their favorite candidate or they run their work with retired persons because they have their links in these institutions.
(iii) Selection should be work basis not age basis ( young candidates always discourages)
(iv) Board must behave properly (generally if board does not want to take any person they discourage or misbehave with candidate, they forget that the candidate is also equally qualified or person of our country)
I hope a quick action will be taken in this direction and we will get a new and encouraging policy in this direction.

How good governance is possible?
95 percent of government servant is not true to there duty,. They are doing just 20 percent of their job, because of political interference ,fear of transfer,by politician force them to sit idle and enjoy instead of doing his duty even if he wants to do so, even a peon in his office boost that I know this or that politician so let him enjoy, Please make govt job free of this if you want our country to excel. I am govt servant and I have to fight very hard to get even very simple thing done. Life is really terrible in govt sector in India. No work just time pass,

So many repetition and time consuming jobs undertaken by various govt depts can be avoided and simplified.

For eg a person has a valid passport for 10 years period and due to regular business travels etc its pages get consumed .

In such a simple case person has to go through cumbersome procedure of getting a new passport issued which wastes the precious time of govt dept as well as common man

Whereas adding extra pages to passport should be a normal matter without any formalities and to be done in a day or so rather than taking months ( which is the present situation).

Or else passports can be issued with large no of pages as required by applicant for which some extra fees may be levied..

Small change like this will drastically reduce t work load in govt deptt( passport offices, police verification depths etc)

Dear sir,
I am semi wholesaler of powerloom clothes. I see good opportunity in our business, but major hazards is security of payments from parties. We have to sale the goods on credit base. But many times we end up loosing bulk money because of few cheater parties knowing the loop holes in the laws very well and knowing the lengthy process of judiciary system. Some time even doing the cases of u/s 138 cheque bounce is also not very effective. Even complaining to police station is also not helpful.

Please do something seriously into this to prevent small scale industries from this. Please introduce effective banking system like irrevocable L/c or similar in domestic markets at very low cost for healthy business environment.

Please suggest us if there is any such mode of security of payment by which we can sale the goods securely on credit base.

Also request to introduce strong laws for this cheaters.

Govt of India should explain why excise dept forcing for two ecc no for one company i.e one for import and another purchasing from other importer or dealer

This is against wastage of time and development and against the reform which Mr Mody talking about and wastage of stationery.

One of your speech, You told us if you have worked for 10 hrs, I will work for 11 hrs. Why we have to work for long hours? Why we are not creating more employment by reducing working hours and five days week. Kindly look into the matter. We are loving our work and our nation. If we stretch more, our family life already disturbed will go where we don't know. This also lead health problems. We have no time to upgrade our skills, just we are doing our job mechanically. Please look into the matter. We can change.

The MSME & KVIC has great role to play as there is much scope of it. The youth does not get any chance to join the programe run by MSME in the urban areas. The officers of such programme should be made bound to select Tea garden area and other rural area as their area of operation.
