Swachh Bharat (Clean India) :
It is heartening to see 33,000 plus people join the group 'Clean India' created on the My Gov site MyGov.nic.in. The pragmatic suggestions of the group members ensure that the vision of Hon'able Prime Minister to create a 'Swachh Bharat' by the time India marks the 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi will be a reality.
The fast growing group in terms of members has come up with numerous ways to make India Clean.
The group while hosting discussion on the following topic should issues of urban and rural cleanliness be tackled differently and can a single approach provide solutions to all problems related to cleanliness, suggests below mentioned worth implementing points :
** City to be planned with dust bins placed at good intervals. Have enough paid toilets and washrooms.
** Fine people who are caught littering and send repeat offenders to work at a social centre to give their free services.
** Reward those who keep their surroundings clean including industrial houses.
** Most waste found in rural area is biodegradable. This should be used to make compost. Urban areas should segregate dry and wet waste.
** Use celebrities and TV ads to educate people about cleanliness and encourage them to keep their surroundings clean.
To avoid manual scavenging the suggestions received were to pass a law. Also municipal corporations who practise it should be made aware of alternatives and fined heavily if found breaking the rule. The other suggestion was to go for competition for a green toilet. Many members suggested that many a times municipal corporations have machines to clean but they lie in neglect and manual scavenging continues. This as per the members should be stopped as soon as possible. Members also suggested construction of bio-toilets in rails and creating community toilets in villages. However, most suggested that the evil practice of manual scavenging can be only stopped by educating and inspiring people.

The suggestions received for how to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary with special focus on cleanliness received numerous comments like :
** Create city / district level waste recycling plants with incentives for providers and users.
** Use of incineration : A great way to convert waste to energy, reduces the junk volume of the waste and makes the environment clean.
** Ban organic waste going to landfills.
** Make commercial units including hospitals and hotels to create an exclusive system by themselves to hand over their waste directly to solid waste management units.
** Install more dust bin for non-bio degradable waste only. Make compulsory to hand over bio degradable waste to the collection agents only and ban public littering.
** Bring the latest technology in solid waste management. Involve school children and NGOs for awareness campaign.
The interesting tasks assigned to the members has received wonderful response from the members. The tasks assigned are :
** Identity 10 global best practices used by countries which have made a big difference in the lives of their citizens.
** Visit a mid-day meal kitchen and assess the cleanliness standards. Present a report on the scope of improvement on cleanliness there.
** Organise a cleanliness drive in your colony or locality.
** Share photographs of a particular area or locality, stressing on how they were before and how they are at present in terms of cleanliness.
** Identify 50 cities and 150 towns that can be used for pilot testing of solid waste management and waste water treatment initiatives and suggest ideas on how these initiatives cab be actuated on the ground.
** Suggest a PPP model that can be adopted to make our cities garbage free.
** Suggest a policy roadmap to construct and maintain proper toilet facilities in cities and villages for the poor.
The most happening section of the group is where the members put their comments after visiting schools and presented their reports on the hygiene standards maintained there for mid-day meals.
Have a look at what two members experienced when they visited government schools :
** Visited one of the Government school in Baraut, Handia, Allahabad. When I entered in Kitchen of that school, I was totally shocked. Its condition was very poor. Even the women who works there, don't wash the utensils properly. I don't know how those student eat it- Its condition seems to be like a kitchen for dogs or some unhygienic animals. And the in charge of the Kitchen was Pradhan of that village. Now I can only pray for those small kids. May God bless them.
** I visited a mid-day meal kitchen in Virugambakkam Chennai. Very good standard are being maintained. Cleanliness is highly appreciable. Items are provided at low costs. Steam cooking is done here. Food items are good here. Purified drinking water is provided. I suggest this scheme can be made all over India.

Honorable Prime Minister,
Its really an honour for me to join this team. There is an urgent need to make our country dirt free. I have seen that though the gov, has tried to put in a lot of initiatives put the systems are not working properly. We do have dustbins though not at regular intervals and dvwm (doon valley waste managements) vans are also there but their functioning is very very irregular. More over what I have noticed is that there is no authority officer to keep a check on these pick up vans. As a result either maids throw garbage in vacant plots(a nuisance or just throw in near the bin which are few in our locality. I would like to suggest that if-
1-regularization of the deputed people with proper monitoring (this would engage more people in the given task)
2-the areas divided in the city should have some sort of competition between themselves as who keeps the area more clean (with their respective representatives) given a lot of responsibility to monitor their areas. Some sort of incentive or may be authority should be there to have an overlook on these representatives too(this would require engagement of large no of people )
3-a dead line to clean up the areas should be set hence forth fine would be levied on the people of that area together with a double fine for that representative.
4-strictness regarding this matter should be taken under consideration.
I think I have tried to put my view properly. If this works out at city level then next we can try the same with more cities of that state and hence forth rest of the states should do it this way . Hope fully our country would be clean in a record time. Seriously sir its a small task if things are taken up seriously and with a lot of enforcement which is right now required for the civilians of our country. I WOULD LIKE TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT IF DEFENSE AREAS, GOV. AREAS CAN BE KEPT NEAT AND CLEAN WHY NOT OTHER AREAS. STRICTNESS IS THE ONLY ANSWER TO IT

MY INDIA CLEAN INDIA
May I suggest a tip for the successful implementation of the program my India clean India and make it a continuous one.The nation's destiny is in the hands of our children. So we have to start from children. The students from LKG class onwards should wear a badge saying 'My India Clean India' on the left side of their chest. This will inculcate self pride and nationally integrated feeling in them. Also the idea of clean India will be imprinted in them. People working in every spheres of services, including Govt and non Govt ,factory workers, club members etal should wear the badge along with their dress code in the working place or in their gathering. The slogan My India Clean India should be translated to regional language by each state govt itself. The color, size, shape of letters etc should be the same. An emblem can also be exhibited on the badge. This emblem can also be imprinted on every product manufactured in India. My India Clean India board should be exhibited in every gov and non gov offices. The message of this ideal idea will help to make it deep rooted in the minds of all people. Thanking you, yours sincerely, Roy Felix, charuvilakath, vayalar po cherthala Kerala

In this context I would like to convey that the goal of swachh bharat can be achieved if the accountability is fixed. e.g. (1) if there is any UN-authorised/illegal construction or encroachment is found , the concerned officer/authority should be made responsible for the same in the first instance thereafter the erring one. (2) if roads are found dirty the concerned officer be punished. (3) if road in front of any house/shop or any kind of installation is found dirty then the person(s) should be made responsible and penalized.
There are so many other issues which contribute towards dirtiness. One deptt. digs the roads and leaves the debris there. Proper vigil be ensured by all concerned departments and necessary action be taken as and when required to keep the things intact. Erring person must be penalized suitably.
Regards

aipmt medical entrance
I am a student and want to clear aipmt 2015. Last year I appeared for test ,but because of certain reasons,I couldn't fair in exam. Main reason i found is certain rules. We were not allowed to take watches in the exam hall. Time matters a lot during this exam. I failed to manage the time. I want to just ask why even mechanical watches were not allowed in the test. I can understand this for digital watches. But normal watches should be allowed in the hall. Even in aiims exam ,there is no such restriction. Then why in this test?
Well, its a little issue, but this issue can change the life completely of a student like me.
Hoping that action should be taken for this....
yours sincerely
ankita doad.

Top leaders of All political parties should take a pledge that they will not allow their worker to destroy national properties . Mr PM plan something with all the parties to take pledge for this at one place and Start this campaign like Swatch Bharat abhiyan
And also pass a strict action who so ever destroy national property .

I deas to participate in Bharat vikas yatra
Honourable Prime minister Shree Narendra Modi Saheb,
If we want to make rapid "vikas" , I think we should give deep interest and make heartily effort to invent "Machine without fuel or cheaper fuel". Government should start special department & lab for it. I think that
EVERY "VIKAS "depends upon energy. To produce energy , Machine is most important. I have invented "the theory of Machine using air circulating as fuel". I am trying to make machine but I can`t get success because of having no lab, etc. I think if the government get interest, it is possible to get success. And if we achieved success, all the problems of energy will be solved. I am eager to participate in it.
Please Sir, do better for it.

I in fact want to request you few to try to do away with few problems, viz.
Receiving pension after retirement in our state is very troublesome and exhausting taking years even . I have worked in different places in different districts. I have learned that l have to go to different district head quarters to collect certificates to prove that I worked there and drew salaries there. Many other dates are asked for before issuing pension. Central govt employees do not face such difficulties and they get pension in less than a month. Cant you make similar arrangements for employees of assam too? I request you to keep my name out of any discussion because i am afraid of misunderstanding from higher ups.
2) Health counselors should be appointed to all hospitals where operations are held to counsel all before any operation or medical procedure .
3)House keeping persons should be appointed in all hospitals from the level of 30 bedded hospitals and above and one person should be appointed in each department.
4)Masterplan should be made to develop each hospital and local doctors should be consulted during planning for the development of the hospital instead of imposing something.
5) Shortage of skilled manpower should be tackled.
