National Overseas Scholarship For OBC students For 2014-15 :
Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment implementing National Overseas Scholarship for Other Backward Classes from the year 2014-15 to provide Financial Assistance to pursue Master Level Courses and Ph.D abroad in Engineering, Management, Agricultural Science and Medicine only. Annually 25 such awards shall be provided by the Ministry out of which 30% shall be reserved for women candidates.

OBC candidates below 35 years of age securing 1st Class or 60% marks or equivalent grade in Bachelor’s Degree/ Masters’ Degree within Annual family income of Rs.3,00,000/-per annum are eligible to apply.

The annual maintenance allowance of US Dollars 15,400/- has been prescribed for all level courses at United States of America and Great Britain Pound 9,900/- has been prescribed for United Kingdom.

Application shall be submitted to Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
