i) Crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- (Fifty) only for OBC candidates as the examination fee in favour of The Inspector General or DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ post office.
ii) However, the SC/ST and Departmental candidates are not required to submit examination fee.

Admission Card : On receipt of application, completed in all respects, at the respective addressee, eligible candidates will be allotted a Roll Number on the Admission Card, which will be sent to them as token of acknowledgment of their applications. Education qualification : Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Univ ersity/Board with.
i) Two years work experience in respective trades; OR
ii) One year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute/Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade; OR
iii) Two years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute in the trade or similar trade.

Eligibility For Re-Employment Of Ex-Servicemen : Ex-servicemen being trained soldiers only written test, trade test and medical fitness test to ascertain Medical category will be conducted. As per Govt’s order total relaxation in prescribed physical standard and education is admissible. Relaxation of upper age limit to the extent of military service plus 3 years is applicable. However, break in Army service and re-employment should not exceed 2 years. No physical efficiency test will be held for Ex-servicemen.

Method of Selection :
(a) At the very beginning of the recruitment process, candidates whose applications are found to be in order will be asked to go through the height bar and thereby, candidates with lesser height will get eliminated.
(b) Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Those who qualify the height test will be subjected to five kilometers race to be completed within 24 minutes.
(c) Original testimonials of the candidates will be checked thereafter and only eligible candidates will go to the next step.
(d) Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who are found eligible on screening of testimonials will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements.
Note:- Physical Efficiency Tests and Physical Standard Test will only be qualifying in nature and it will not carry any marks.

(e) Trade Test :- Only qualifying in nature.
The candidates who qualify the PET will be put through the respective Trade Test.
Each candidate will be allowed to appear for one trade only as entered in the application form.

(f) Written Test:- 100 marks
i) The candidates who qualify in the PETs and Trade Test will be required to appear in a written test.
(ii) The Written Test for 100 marks containing 100 questions (qualifying marks 35% for GC & Ex-Servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC) will consist of only OMR based objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using a black pen.
(iii) The question paper will be set to assess the
(i) general awareness/general knowledge,
(ii) knowledge of elementary mathematic,
(iii) analytical aptitude and ability to observe the distinguish patters and to test the
(iv) basic knowledge of the candidates in English/Hindi. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English. The papers can be answered either in Hindi or in English.
(iv) The duration of the Written Test will be 2 hours.
