    Procedure :
    1) Select Mode of Application Submission Online/ Walk-in
    2) Select Type of Service Fresh/ Reissue/ PCC
    3) Select Applicant's Age Less than 15 years/ Between 15 - 18 years/ 18 years and above
    4) Click on the Calculator Fee Button

    Fields marked with asterisk (*) are mandatory

    Note: The passport & related application fee has been revised with effect from 1st October 2012. For details please refer "Revised Fee wef 1st Oct, 12" link under the Press Release on the Online Portal home page.

    Fee Payment
    Q: How much do I have to pay to apply for a passport?
    A: No fee is required for Diplomatic/ Official passports. To know the fee details for ordinary passports, please click on "Fee Calculator" link on Home page.

    Q: How do I make the payment?
    A: You can pay at a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) in cash only.
    If you are submitting your application at a District Passport Cell (DPC), you can pay only by demand draft.
    Note: Demand draft should be drawn in favor of "PAO-MEA" payable at the city where the Passport Office (PO) is located.

    Q: Can a citizen make the payment with the debit card?
    A: Currently fees can be paid at a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) in cash only. Later Credit cards and debit cards may be accepted at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) Only Credit/ Debit cards of self or family member whose details have been mentioned in the passport application form are acceptable.

    Q: What is the fee for issue of passport under the Tatkaal scheme?
    A: To know the fee details, please click on "Fee Calculator" link on Home page.

    Q: How much do I have to pay along with the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) Application form?
    A: The fee to be paid along with the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) application form is Rs.500/-. You can pay at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) in cash only.

    I am a central government employ now working in New Delhi. What are the document required for to reissue my passport which is issued from Visakhapatnam.

    What are the documents needed for the passport of just born baby?

    Endorsement of child's name in parent's passports is not allowed anymore. As per the amended law, a minor should have a separate passport.

    I applied for my passport 6 months ago and the police verification is still pending? Should I keep waiting or can I apply in the new system?

    The Regional Passport office (RPO) has embarked on a special pendency clearance drive. Please wait for four weeks. If you still do not receive your passport, please visit the Passport Office (PO).
