Technical Associate Recruitment :
REQUIREMENT OF TECHNICAL PROFESSIONALS FOR DIP/GIS/MIS RELATED WORK UNDER VARIOUS PROJECTS/PLAN SCHEME

Forest Survey of India (FSI) is a national organization under the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India and is responsible for forest resource assessment of the country.

Applications are invited for engagement of 19 Technical Associates on contractual basis for DIP/GIS/MIS related work under various projects/plan schemes initially for a period of one year subject to further extension, if required. The details such as essential qualification, age limit, emoluments, place of work and selection criterion is given below:

Name of the post : Technical Associate
Emoluments : Rs. 25,000 + (HRA as applicable)
Age limit : The upper age limit is 30 years as on the last date of submission of application. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 year in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH
Qualification :
Essential :
1. Post Graduate in Science/Environmental Science/Applied Science/M.A. Geography or Post Graduate/Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University/Institution,
2. Working Knowledge of DIP/GIS.
Place of Posting : FSI, Dehradun/ FSI, Zonal Offices/ Regional Offices of MoEF&CC across the Country.

Selection Criterion:
** Candidates fulfilling the desired qualifications will have to fill up the application form, which can be downloaded from our website : fsi.nic.in. The duly filled up application with self-attested copy of certificates should reach Forest Survey of India, Dehradun through Post latest by 5.30 pm of 08/12/2017.

The short listed candidates will be intimated over phone and/or e-mail for a written and Hands-on test, which is tentatively scheduled in the last week of December/1st week of January 2018 at Forest Survey of India, Dehradun. The shortlisted candidates will have to produce the original documents on the day of written and Hands-on test.

** Shortlisting will be done on the basis of fulfilling qualification and age limit criteria. Previous work experience if any would be provided due weightage during shortlisting and therefore, candidates should provide certificates from previous employers as a proof. The final selection would be based on performance in the written test and Hands-on test.

In case of any dispute in the process, the decision of the Director General, FSI will be final. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test.

** The selection and appointment as a Technical Associates is purely on contractual basis and does not imply any form of permanent employment in Forest Survey of India or extension beyond the period of engagement.
