Child Protection Trainer Recruitment :
Development Management Institute (DMI) was set up in February 2014, pursuant to a desire of the Government of Bihar to establish a High Performing Knowledge Institution (HPKI). DMI is a value-and-mission-driven organization.

DMI, Patna, has initiated a collaborative work towards strengthening Child Protection (CP) mechanisms in Bihar through Competencies Enhancement Programmes (CEPs) for CP functionaries in collaboration with Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar and UNICEF (Bihar Office).

CEPs are to be conducted for about a thousand CP functionaries across the state, as per the specific training needs. In this regard, DMI is inviting applications from experts in Child Protection from across the country including Bihar for empanelment as trainers.

Eligibility for CP trainers: Master’s in Management, Psychology, Law, Development Studies, Social Sciences or allied fields. Minimum five years proven professional training experience in child protection, child development, child rights or social development at national level.

Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi languages is necessary.

Please note:
This is only empanelment of trainers to support DMI in conducting aforementioned CEPs. Persons shortlisted will be called time-to-time on ‘as-required basis’ by the Institute. Persons shortlisted will not be employees of DMI. A mere fulfilling of the eligibility criteria does not ensure selection to the position applied for.

Everything else being equal, candidates with demonstrated expertise and experience in reputed academic institutions or organisations engaged in the areas of child protection, child care, welfare etc. will be preferred. The institute reserves right of not selecting from the existing pool of applicants if suitable candidates are not found.

2. Applicants meeting eligibility criteria (Ref. to Notification No. 014 for “Empanelment of Child Protection Trainers” dated October 16, 2017) should have the following information available with them for completing the online application process:
a. Valid and active personal Email-Id.
b. Valid Mobile Number for contacting in future.
c. Recent passport sized colour photograph (in .jpg / .jpeg format only). The size of the scanned photograph should not be more than 100 kb.
d. Signature in blue/black ink on a white background (in .jpg / .jpeg format only). The size of the scanned signature should not be more than 50 kb.
e. Minimum of two identity details are required (Voter ID, PAN No., Passport No., Aadhar No. or Driving License No.).
f. Updated resume (in .pdf format only). The size of the PDF file should not exceed 3 MB.

3. Since the eligibility will be screened based on the information furnished in the application form, candidates are advised to fill in the online application form carefully, as no changes in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/entertained afterwards.
4. An Auto-generated Application Number will be allotted to the applicants on successful submission of the online application form. You are advised to preserve your Application No. for future reference.
