Technical Assistant Recruitment :
Applications are invited in prescribed format up to 31.08.2017 for the following posts at the National AIDS Research Institute, Pune.

Technical Assistant (Molecular Virology) : (One Post) (OBC) Pay Band PB-2: 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4200/- (Pre-revised) as admissible as per Govt. Norms.

Essential Qualifications : Three years Bachelor Degree in Microbiology subject from a recognized University with DMLT/Certificate or relevant subject from Govt. recognized Organizations / Institute/ Medical College and One year experience in recognized Institute.
Desirable Qualifications :
Master Degree in Medical Microbiology subject from a recognized University Govt. recognized Organizations / Institute/ Medical College and One year experience in recognized Institute.
Knowledge of basic Computer Operations.

Eligibility : Technician C who have completed not less than 6 years approved service in the respective grade pay are eligible.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (…last date of Submission…)

Job Requirements:
(I) To Assist the Seniors for the Laboratory and Field duties.
(II) To ensure compliance of Best Laboratory Practices.
(III) Maintenance of installations and housekeeping of the Laboratory.

Selection Procedure:
The applications will be screened by a Screening Committee as per the criteria adopted by ICMR. The eligible candidates will be invited to take written examination (objective type). The candidates will be called for personal discussion /interview on the basis of merit based on marks obtained in the written test. The final decision to select will be based on the criteria adopted by ICMR.

on or before the closing date. NARI will not be responsible for late receipt of the application due to postal delay.

3. Documents to be enclosed with the application form (Self-attested copies)
a) Proof of Date of Birth
b) Education qualifications
c) Experience (proof for all experience mentioned in the application)
d) Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft from a nationalized bank for 300/-(Rupees Three hundred Only) payable to the Director, National AIDS Research Institute, Pune.

Women and Physically Handicapped candidates (PH) are exempted from the application fee upon submission of attested copies of certificates. IPOs/DD are payable by all other candidates. All Government / ICMR employees are not exempted from the payment.

NOTE :
(1) Since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates for the written test /interview, the applicants will be short-listed for this purpose. The decision of the Director In-Charge,NARI will be final in this regards.
(2) No TA/DA will be paid to attend the written test / interview and the candidates will have to make their own arrangement.
(3) Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to the selection / recruitment shall be grounds for disqualification.
(4) These posts are with all India transfer liability under the Council.
