Qualification :
For the post at S.No. A 1: Professor (Basic Science) - (i) Doctoral degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry/ Bio-Science/Life Science. (ii) 10 years experience T/R/E provided 3 years experience as a Associate Professor (Rs. 12000-18300) (pre-revised)/revised pay scale as per 6th pay commission or in an equivalent position. (iii) Evidence of contribution to T/R/E as supported by published work/innovations.Desirable- Specialization & Experience in subject concerned.

For the Post at S.No. A2: Professor (Agriculture Extension) - (i) Doctoral degree in Agricultural Communication/Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Extension Education and Rural Development. The (ii), (iii) and desirable qualifications are same as at S.No. A1.

For the Post at S.No. A3: Professor (Horticulture) - (i) Doctoral degree in Horticulture. The (ii), (iii) and desirable qualifications Same as at SN A1.

For the Post at S.No. A4 : Professor (Agricultural Economics & Management) – (i) Doctoral degree in Agricultural Economics /Agricultural Economics & Management / Dairy Economics. The (ii), (iii) and desirable qualifications Same as at S.No. A1.

For the Post at S.No. A5 : Professor (Agriculture Biotechnology)– ((i) Ph.D. in Bio – Technology/Bio-Science/Life Science With M.Sc. Bio-Tech./M.Sc. (Ag. In Genetic and Plant Breeding/Ag. Botany/Plant Pathology/Entomology/ Microbiology/Nematology with experience in Biotechnology). The (ii), (iii) and desirable qualifications Same as at S.No. A1.

For the Post at S.No. A6: Associate Professor (Genetics and plant breeding) – (i) Doctoral degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Plant Breeding/Ag. Botany. (ii) A minimum of 08 years experience of T/R/E at Assistant Professor or equivalent level (excluding period spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree) in the Pre-revised pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500, having contribution to T/R/E as evidenced by published work/innovation. Desirable- Specialization & Experience in subject concerned.
