PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur, one of the premier technical institutes of the country, established by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Institute invites applications from well qualified and strongly motivated candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe & Other Backward Class (SC, ST & OBC) for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor in the following disciplines;
1. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
2. Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
3. Mechanical Engineering (ME)
4. Design
5. Physics
6. Mathematics
7. English Language.

1 Name of the post : Assistant Professor (on contract)
Pay Band and Academic Grade Pay: PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/-+ 07additional non-compounded increments
Essential Qualification : Ph.D.
Relevant Experience : None
Other essential requirements : None
Additional Desirable requirements : One publication in an SCI Journal.

2 Name of the post : Assistant Professor (on contract)
Pay Band and Academic Grade Pay: PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7000/-
Essential Qualification : Ph.D.
Relevant Experience :01 year
Other essential requirements :One paper accepted for publication in SCI Journal.
Additional Desirable requirements : Two papers in SCI Journals or one patent; may be based on Ph.D. work.
Note: Persons who have recently submitted their PhD thesis may also be considered for the post of Assistant Professor (contractual basis) in the PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 on appropriate level in the scale of pay ( 7 non-compounded increments will be applicable only after the award of PhD degree). Basic degree in respective branch is preferred. Candidates applying for higher grade pay may also be considered for lower grade pay.

iii) Envelope containing application form should be super-scribed with “APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION”.

iv) Candidates called for interview will be reimbursed AC-2 train fare (only for travel within India) by the shortest route/bus fare as per Govt. of India norms. Candidates from overseas are also encouraged to apply. The Institute holds web interviews for such candidates. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct and result of interviews and reasons for not being called for interview.
