MyGov is looking for volunteers who will play an anchoring role to take this platform to greater heights. Volunteers would be required for the different roles that would be required for the platform to run smoothly during its day to day activities.
Your contribution can make a historic difference in this larger mass movement towards Surajya!
At present we invite a team of volunteers. Gradually MyGov will look at avenues of remuneration to the volunteers.

Chief Content Coordinator for MyGov.nic.in
You are a right potential candidate if you are :
** A passionate citizen of India with strong writing skills and editorial experience with the drive to contribute to the nation.
** You have an interest in public affairs, governance and feel your efforts can help change lives of Indians. You are a high energy personality with team building skills and your natural instinct is to find solutions to problems.
** You should have the creative thinking and editorial judgment for how the various tasks of Governance can be articulated in an exciting and motivating manner to trigger discussions and to motivate volunteers to undertake tasks which can be done online as well as on the ground. This will require both Imagination and Passion.
** Hands-on experience with social media tools is a must.
Work description :
** The Chief Content Coordinator would be responsible for creating, coordinating and overseeing all the content on MyGov.nic.in . The person will also have to lead a team of content volunteers by providing them guidance on new ideas which have relevance to the various on ground activities various ministries will want to put out from time to time.
** The individual may also have to interact with government officials and ensure meaningful inputs and ideas are exchanged on a continuous basis to create good content. The individual will also look after the timeliness of content, style of writing and language standards in order to ensure the website has high levels of engagement, fun and interest using all online tools including those for social media.

The person will work in close coordination with the Chief Content Coordinator and a set of Content Creators to create content and give new ideas which have relevance to the various on ground activities various ministries will want to put out from time to time.
** The candidate may have to interact with officials across government departments to seek and execute relevant inputs related to MyGov.

Content Editor for MyGov.nic.in
You are a right potential candidate if you are :
** A passionate citizen of India with strong interest to contribute to nation building.
** You have an interest in public affairs, governance and feel your efforts can help change lives of Indians. You are a high-energy personality with team building skills and your natural instinct is to find solutions to problems.
** You should have the creative thinking and editorial judgment required to approve every task, submission and creative entry that will be uploaded on MyGov.
** Hands-on experience with social media tools is a must.
Work description :
** The role of the Content Editor is to approve and if need be give feedback on every task, submission and creative entry on MyGov. The Content Editor would have to work in close coordination with the Chief Content Coordinator and a set of Content Creators.
** The candidate may have to interact with the various contributors as well and ensure nothing offensive or inappropriate is posted on MyGov.
