National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme 2014 :
Jharkhand Academic Council ( JAC ) Ranchi has announced the examination schedule for National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme for Jharkhand State. This scholarship is for those students who are studying in 8th Standard . They will be receiving scholarship for class IX to XII. This scholarship is given Human Resource Department , Indian Government New Delhi.

Eligibility for this scholarship :
** Students should be 7th Pass with 55% marks minimum and would be studying in class 8th
** Parents annual income should be less than Rs. 1.5 lakh
** Students who are studying in schools like Jawahar Vidyalay / Novaday Vidyalay where lodging and studying facility is free are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Fee :
Rs. 50 for General Students and Rs. 25 for SC / ST

Method of Payment :
Fees should be paid in the form of Bank Draft Payable to N.M.M.M.S Ranchi

Examination Question Pattern:
Examination would be organise just on the basis of NCERT Talent Examination .

First Part :
Mental Ability Test :
There would be 90 questions of objective types and time duration of exam will be of 90 minutes.

Second Part :
Scholastic Ability Test :
Test, which includes questions on math, natural and social science. There would be total 90 objective type question , which is supposed to be done in 90 minutes.
