Applications for filling up following vacancies in the Registry of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, are invited from the desirous eligible graduate candidates, on the format given below to reach the Registry of the High Court on or before 31st July, 2013.

1.Name of the post : Stenographer
No. of post : One and few anticipate vacancies
Pay Band/scale : `10300-34800 + `4400/- Grade Pay + `600/- Special Pay with initial pay of `14,590/-
Qualification : Graduation. The candidate shall have to pass English Stenography test at the speed of 110 words per minutes to be transcribed within a period five times the period taken to dictate, and typing test at the speed of 40 words per minute.

2.Name of the post : Junior Scale Stenographer
No. of post: Two and few vacancies
Pay Band/scale : `10300-34800 + `3200/- Grade Pay + `400/- Special Pay with initial pay of `13,500/-.
Qualification : Graduation. Minimum speed in short hand and typing shall be 100 words per minute and 30 words per minute, respectively. The matter dictated in short hand shall have to be transcribed within a period five times the time taken to dictate.

Age : The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 45 years of age as on 31st July, 2013.
