The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for recruitment to the post of Excise Constable/ Lady Excise Constable will commence from the 5th August, 2013 (05/08/2013) instead of 29/07/2013 for the Districts of South 24-Pgs., Jalpaiguri, Malda, Murshidabad & Paschim Medinipore.

In case of Jalpaiguri Special Recruitment Board PMT/PET will be held at Raikotpara Sports Association Ground beside the Sports Complex Jalpaiguri instead of Jalpaiguri District Police Line Grounds. The Candidates are advised to appear before the respective Boards against the changed dates mentioned as per the new schedule with the Admit Cards already dispatched with the previous schedule. Further details could be had from our websites policewb.gov.in and the Excise Department Site www.wbexcise.gov.in.

Admit Cards for the rest of the eligible candidates of the above mentioned districts and the remaining districts will be sent in due course. Candidates not receiving the admit cards for the first ten days of the tests by 20/07/2013, can download a copy of the same from the police website (policewb.gov.in) only from 21.07.2013 onwards. No candidate will be allowed entry to the venue without the Admit Card (either original or downloaded copy). Candidates are advised to visit Police/Excise website off and on for further details.
