Punjab Gramin Bank invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) who have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

1.Name of the post : Officer Scale-I
No. of post : 30
Pay Scale : 14500-600/7, 18700-700/2, 20100-800/7, 25700.
Age (As on 01-06-2012) :Above 18 years - Below 28 years
Educational Qualification :
(i) Bachelor degree of a recognised University in any discipline or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
(ii) Essential : Proficiency in Local Language i.e. Punjabi and must have passed “Punjabi” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/10th Standard
(iii) Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.

2.Name of the post : Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
No. of post : 50
Pay Scale : 7200-400/3, 8400-500/3, 9900-600/4, 12300-700/7, 17200-1300/1, 18500-800/1, 19300.
Age (As on 01-06-2012) : Between 18 years and 28 years
Educational Qualification :
(i) Bachelor Degree or its equivalent of a recognized University in any discipline;
(ii) (a) Essential: Proficiency in Local Language i.e. Punjabi and must have passed “Punjabi” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/10th Standard.
(b) Desirable : Knowledge of Computer skills

Pre-Requisite Qualification : Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in September 2012 should have obtained the prescribed scores.

Call Letters For The Interview :
i) All eligible candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form and will be sent through E-mail and also by post/ courier.
ii) Candidate has to affix his/her photograph on the call letter. Candidate has to bring this call letter along with original fee payment receipt and requisite enclosures while attending the Interview without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview.

Fee :
SC/ST/PWD candidates : Rs. 20/-
All others : Rs.100/-

How to Apply :
i) Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website between 17-05-2013 and 31-05-2013. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.

ii) The Application printout along with the fee payment receipt and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if shortlisted for Interview.
