Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for direct recruitment of Constable (Band) in Railway Protection Force (RPF).

Eligibility:
a) Must be a citizen of India (Only male citizens are eligible)
b) Educational/Technical qualifications;
(i) Matriculation or equivalent examination conducted by a recognised Board; and
(ii) 2 years experience in operational use of specified musical instrument. Ex-servicemen holding certificate in military music shall be permitted.

Application Fee : Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Bank Draft in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO), North Central Railway, Allahabad.

i) Application forms can be downloaded from Indian Railways official website.

ii) The application forms may be submitted on A 4 size bond paper using one side only and sent to
IG cum Chief Security Commissioner/RPF,
North Central Railway, Post Box No. 1-92,
Allahabad, PIN- 211015 (U.P.)

Documents to be sent along with the application:
i) Crossed Indian Postal Order/Bank Draft for Rs.50/- as application fee (nonrefundable).
ii) Self attested copy of SC/ST/OBC certificate on the format prescribed for Central Government employment as per Annexure ‘A’ & ‘B’.
iii) Self-attested copy of matriculation certificate as proof of educational qualification and age
iv) Self-attested copy of experience certificate of working in the Band and having played one of the instruments listed in the advertisement.
v) Self-attested copy of discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen.
vi) One extra coloured photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) with clear front view of the face without cap and sun glasses, mentioning the name of the candidate on the reverse side.
vii) Two self addressed envelopes of 27.5 cms x 12.5 cms with five rupees postal stamps affixed on each of them.
