Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for filling up the post of Constable (Band) in the Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.-2000/- in the Railway Protection Force. Details are given below;

Educational Qualification : The applicant must have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized Board and two year experience in operational use of special musical instrument. Ex-Servicemen holding certificate in military music shall be permitted. Educational qualification obtained from institution other than a recognized State Board or Central Board should be submitted alongwith the Government of India notification declaring that such educational qualification is equivalent to Matriculation/Xth class for employment under Central Government.

(i) Represented the country in any of the Category- B Championship/events. OR
(ii) At least 3rd position in any of the Category- C Championship/events. OR

(iv) At least 3rd position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State
