It is proposed to fill up the two positions of Research Associate and one position of Senior Research Fellow under projects at this Institute through interview. 1.Name of the Project : ICAR Network Project “National Initiative for Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)”
Name of the post : Research Associate

Pay (consolidated) : Rs. 23000/- p.m. + HRA for M.Sc. and Rs. 24000/- p.m. + HRA for Ph.D. as per rule
Qualification: Post Graduate in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent and two years of research experience. Published research papers and knowledge of computers will be desirable. or
Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Science.

2.Name of the Project : Validation of DUS testing guidelines for cucurbits i.e., watermelon and muskmelon
Name of the post : Senior Research Fellow

Age : Not more than 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women
Pay (consolidated) : Rs. 16000/- p.m. fixed + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000 + HRA for 3rd year as per rules
Qualification: Post Graduate in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture specialization in Vegetable Science/Plant Breeding.
Desirable : Working experience on vegetable breeding and knowledge of computers.
