Applications in the prescribed form, given in the advertisement, are invited, from the eligible candidates for recruitment of the posts as indicated below on or before 28th February, 2013.

1.Name of the post : Assistant Professor (Animal Husbandry and Dairy Science)
Scale : Rs. 15600-39100+ AGP of Rs. 6000
Qualification :
1. Master's degree with First Class in a relevant subjects i.e. Gynecology and Obstetrics in Veterinary Science from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. A relaxation of Second Class will be provided to the candidates of reserved categories applying for the reserved posts.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/ASRB/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
3. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions.
4. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
OR
1. Ph.D. in respective subject means Gynecology and Obstetrics in Veterinary Science or Master's degree in the respective subject means Gynecology and Obstetrics in Veterinary Science with two years experience in teaching, research or extension education.
2. Evidence of published papers in recognised journals.

2.Name of the post : Medical Officer
Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400
Qualification : M.B.B.S. degree recognized by the Medical Council of India/State Government.

Fee : Open category :Rs.500/-; Reserved category : Rs.250/-
