Ref : Written Examination for recruitment of Constable & Lady Constable in Kolkata Police Force, 2012

The Written Examination will be held on 16.12.2012 at 12 noon all over West Bengal at different venues. Candidates who qualified the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), are eligible to appear in the Written Examination at the respective venue as specified in the Admit Card. Candidates are requested to report to the examination centres with Admit Card and Photo ID Card by 11.00 hrs. on 16/12/12.

Candidates must bring ball point pen with BLACK INK to mark the answers on the Answer Sheet (OMR Sheet). They should also carry any standard photo ID card like PAN, EPIC, Driving Licence, Passport etc.

Admit Cards are being sent to the eligible candidates by post. Candidates may also download their Admit Cards from the website of KPRB-www.kprb.kolkatapolice.gov.in onwards from 07/12/12.

For instructions, detail information and list of candidates who qualified in the PMT / PET website kprb.kolkatapolice.gov.in should be followed. Candidates may contact kolkata Police Recruitment board between 10 am to 6 pm through ph-no- 033 2283 7660.

The candidates, who will qualify in the physical endurance test, will be considered for ‘Written Test’. The Written Test will have objective type questions on Current Affairs, General knowledge, Basic English, Elementary Mathematics and Analytical Aptitude in multiple choice answer system.

Full marks of the Written Test will be 90 and allotted time will be 90 minutes, having provision of negative marks against the wrong answers. The answer sheet may be evaluated in Optical Mark Recognition (OMR System).
