1.Process Engineering : 10 + 2 with Science subjects followed by First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / equivalent of 3 years fulltime duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission after 10+2 if applicable) or its equivalent.

2. Mechanical Engineering : 10 + 2 with Science subjects followed by First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engg/Tech. of 3 years fulltime duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission after 10+2 if applicable) or its equivalent.

3. Electrical Engineering : 10 + 2 with Science subjects followed by First Class Diploma in Electrical Engg /Tech. of 3 years fulltime duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission after 10+2 if applicable) or its equivalent.

4. Library and Information Science : First Class B.Sc. (Sci.) with B.Lib.Sc.

Essential Educational Qualification : Technical Officer
1. Chemical/Production Engineering : BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Chemical/Production Engineering or Chemical Technology with 55% marks.

2. Mechanical Engineering/Polymer Engineering : BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical/Polymer Engineering with 55% marks.

3. Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering :BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering with 55% marks.

4. Civil Engineering : BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering with 55% marks.

5. Planning : BE/B.Tech or equivalent in any branch of engineering with 55% marks.

6. Technical Services : BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology with 55% marks.
