Name of the Post : Marine Diver for sample collection from deep waters
Job description : The candidate will be engaged in collection of marine flora and fauna from deep waters more than 15 meters. He/she will also be expected to acquire basic knowledge to identify the species. The candidate would additionally be involved in offshore seaweed cultivation activities. The candidate will be stationed at Mandapam Field Station, Tamil Nadu but would be required to travel to any part of the country or even overseas on need basis.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks Plus ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate or 2 years full time experience as a Diver from a recognized institute.

Name of the Post : Technician for sample collection and analysis related to Environmental projects – (OBC)
Job description : Collection of Air, Water and Soil samples from factory premises and various locations across the country as per requirement. The candidate will additionally undergo training in basic analytical procedures and assist other Scientists in performing experiments and maintenance of assigned laboratories.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training in the area of Environmental Sciences from a recognized institute.

Name of the Post : Technician for operation, maintenance and repair of instruments and gadgets (UR)
Job description : The candidate will be engaged in operation and day to day maintenance of sophisticated analytical instruments, high pressure equipments, process controllers and communication devices. They are also expected to acquire basic knowledge necessary to repair various instruments so that they can assist scientists and service engineers for repairing and maintenance of instruments.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate in instrumentation/electronics or two years full time experience as an apprentice training in the operation and maintenance of analytical instruments from a recognized institute/laboratory.

Name of the Post : Mechanic for field activities pertaining to salt and marine chemicals (OBC)
Job description : The candidate will be involved in field R&D activities related to production of salt and marine chemicals, particularly activities related to operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical appliances and/or civil construction/maintenance of crystallizers. The candidate will also provide first line supervision of the salt workers.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate for Machinist/Fitter.

Name of the Post : Boiler Operator-cum-Mechanic for pilot plant (UR)
Job description : Operation of different types of boilers (liquid & solid fuel fired and solar fired) and biomass gasifiers; operation, maintenance and repair of pilot plant equipments, e.g., belt conveyor, crusher, filter press, pumps, centrifuges, vessels, etc.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate for machinist/fitter along with Minimum Second class Boiler Attendant Certificate.

Name of the Post : Technician for maintenance and operation of pilot plant (OBC)
Job description : The candidate will be engaged in installation, operation and maintenance of pilot plant equipments consists of reactors, pumps, centrifuges, evaporators, distillation units and chillers at the institute’s premises and also at the experimental salt farm and field stations. He/she is also expected to acquire knowledge to repair various components (as mentioned above) of the plant.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI Certificate or National / State Trade Certificate in machinist/fitter or two years full time working experience as apprentice training in operation and maintenance of pilot plant in well reputed chemical industry/institute.

Name of the Post : Technician for operation of machines (ST)
Job description : Fabrication of various tools required for designed experimental setup using different machines such as CNC lathe, milling, drilling, shearing machine etc. The candidate is also expected to carry out maintenance and repair of various workshop related equipments and plants in the institute and also at institute’s salt farm.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate in machinist /fitter or two years full time experience as apprentice training in mechanist/fitter from a recognized institute.

Name of the Post : Technician-cum-driver for mobile water purification units (UR)
Job description : The candidate will be responsible for safe mobility of automobile engine-propelled mobile water purification units across India. The candidate is also expected to acquire the skills necessary for operation and maintenance of the units.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science 55 % marks and ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate for driver cum mechanic and valid license for driving of heavy vehicles.

Name of the Post : Technician for maintenance of electrical power supply and equipments – (UR)
Job description : The candidate will be engaged in maintenance of the electric power cables in the institute, guest house, staff quarters, field stations etc. He/she will be also involved in maintenance of D. G. sets, transformer, bus bar, panels etc. The candidate is also expected to take up repairing of equipments such as oven, furnace, electric motors, centrifuge, auto clave, switch boards etc.
Essential Educational Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with Science Subject with 55% marks plus ITI certificate or National/State Trade certificate in electrician.
Desirable : Experience of working as electrician in reputed organization will be an additional advantage.

Fee : Demand Draft of Rs.100/- valid for 6 months drawn in favour of the Director, CSMCRI, Bhavnagar payable at Bhavnagar
