2.Name of the post : Project Assistant Level-II Academic Qualifications : 1st Class or 60% in M.Sc / M.Sc (Tech) Geology / Applied Geology / Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Physics / Analytical Chemistry / Environmental Science / Applied Geochemistry / Marine Geophysics No. of post : 35 Job Requirement : Laboratory and field work Sample preparation and analysis / data synthesis and interpretation / geophysical survey and interpretation / shale gas analysis / geological field for sampling and laboratory rock mechanics studies on rock samples / data processing / signal analysis / Heavy metal separation / sample processing and data acquisition in the TIMS Lab / seismological field work, data processing and computation work etc. Age limit as on 08.11.2012 : 28 Years Remuneration (consolidated) : Rs. .13,000/-p.m.
3.Name of the post : Project Assistant Level-III Academic Qualifications : 1st Class or 60% in M.Sc (Tech) / M.Tech Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Marine Geophysics / Geotechnical Engineering with Rock Mechanics / Remote Sensing with M.Sc Physics or Mathematics or Geology No. of post : 5 Job Requirement : Laboratory and field work Field geological mapping and GIS, Mathematical modeling and image processing / laboratory rock mechanics studies on rock samples/ Developing Methodology for potential field data / MT field work and subsequent processing etc. Age limit as on 08.11.2012 : 32 Years Remuneration (consolidated) : Rs. .15,000/-p.m.
4.Name of the post : Project Fellow Academic Qualifications : 1st Class or 60% in M.Sc / M.Sc (Tech) Geophysics / Applied Geophysics plus NET (LS) / GATE No. of post : 1 Job Requirement : R&D seismics / seismology etc. Age limit as on 08.11.2012 : 28 Years Remuneration (consolidated) : Rs. .16,000/-p.m.
5.Name of the post : Senior Project Fellow Academic Qualifications : 1st Class or 60% in M.Sc Environmental Science and 2 years research experience and published papers in standard journals No. of post : 1 Job Requirement : To carry out project work and report writing etc. Age limit as on 08.11.2012 : 32 Years Remuneration (consolidated) : Rs. .18,000/-p.m.
Mode of Selection : If the number of candidates turned up for interview is relatively high, the candidates will be shortlisted through written test followed by interview on the next day. The decision will be informed to the candidates on the day of walk-in-interview.

a) Interested candidates may register on-line.The link will be available for registration from 26.10.2012 to 06.11.2012. After submission of on-line application form, candidates should take print out, affix latest photograph and signature in the respective columns provided and bring the same for walk-in-interview.
b) Candidates with NET/GATE qualification will be given preference.

along with the printed on-line Application, Attested photocopies of certificates related to educational qualifications, age and caste [in case of SC/ST/OBC(Non-Creamy Layer) candidates].
d) The candidates who appeared for their final year examination and whose results are awaited may also appear for the interview along with Xerox copies of their year wise mark sheets duly attested by any Gazetted Officer (Engagement would be subject to production of Final Memorandum of Mark Sheet).
