National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI), a premier Research Institute (an Autonomous Organization) under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, proposed to appoint Indian Nationals with brilliant academic record & talent for the following Scientific & Technical backlog posts of reserved category

**Scientist - Two Posts (Post Code. S-1) Both Reserved for ‘ST’ :
a) Essential Qualifications : Ph.D.(Geophysics) submitted.
b) Job Requirement : Participation in geophysical data acquisition, processing and interpretation (both in field and in the Laboratory) and involvement in major research programmes of the Institute.
c) Upper Age Limit : Should not exceed 32 years as on the last date prescribed for receipt of filled in applications.

**Technical Assistant - Two Posts (PB-2 - `.9300-34800 + GP `.4200)

a) Qualifications :
First class B.Sc.(MPC) with one year full time professional qualification in computer applications (Software & Hardware) from a recognized Institute/ Organization.

a) Qualifications : SSC/10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks plus ITI in Electrical or National/ State Trade certificate in Electrical or 2 years full time experience as an apprentice training from a recognized institution in Electrical trade.
b) Job Requirement : Day to day maintenance work pertaining to Electrical Section even in shift duties.
