HOW TO APPLY :
Applications are invited in the prescribed format as enclosed on A-4 size bond paper (80 GSM) using one side only from eligible Indian Nationals for the following posts. Applications complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent by ordinary post to the Assistant Secretary / Member Secretary of the concerned Railway Recruitment Board, as mentioned in Para-15 of General Instructions, so as to reach on or before 12.11.2012 up to 17.30 hrs. The applications can also be dropped in the box kept at the premises of concerned RRB offices, till 17.30 of the closing date.

The envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed “Application for the Post of .................................. Category No...... Centralized Employment Notice No.......... & Community (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)”. If the post and category number is not indicated on the top of the envelope containing application, the same will not be entertained.

Before applying for any post, the candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility norms. The candidate should have the requisite Educational / T echnical qualifications from recognized University/Institute as on the closing date of submission of the application. Those awaiting results of the final examination need NOT apply. RRB may reject the applications of candidates at any stage of recr uitment process in case the candidate is not fulfilling the requisite criteria, and if appointed, such candidates are liable to be removed from service summarily.

What is the syllabus for Physiotherapy?

The syllabus for the written examination will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The Questions will be of objective type with multiple answers and likely to include questions per training to General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Technical Ability for the post. The question paper will be in English, Hindi , Urdu and local language as indicated in para -15 given below . Duration of the examination will be 90 minutes with approximately100 questions.

What should I fill in the RRB Application CEN 05/2012 annexure 1 Point 2 Choice of Railways?

You can give the choice of your Zones as per priority. It Means The Railway Zone, You are Applying for Such as, South Railway (SR), North Railway (NR), South Eastern Railway (SER), North Eastern Railway (NER) etc.

As Example If You are Applying for Chennai, You Have to fill SR

I am a partial colour blind. Am i eligible for x ray technician in railway department?

Following pertains to blindness.
I dont think there is any reservation for color blind candidates.

Also, I would assume that color blindness and x-ray technician job wont go hand in hand together. This is my personal opinion.
Read the following an other related text in the advertisement.

(a) Blindness: 'Blindness' refers to a
condition where a person suffers from any of the following conditions, namely:
(i) total absence of sight; or
(ii) visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (snellen) in the better eye with correcting lense;
(iii) limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degrees or worse;

(b) Low vision: “Person with low
vision” means a person with impairment of visual functioning even after
treatment or standard refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriate assistive device.

DEGREE OF DISABILITY FOR RESERVATION: Only such persons would be
eligible for reservation in services/posts who suffer from not less than 40 per cent of relevant disability. A person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority as given in Annexure-9.

Although there is a application form for this post in its advertisement, it is not in A4 sheet printable form. From where should I print Application form for CEN 05/2012. Please help.

I am Naveen Kumar from Hyderabad. I submitted the RRB Secunderabad application by online. I uploaded my certificates and all my details by online then i got examination fee challan which should pay on submitted date in state bank of India. I submitted my application on 02-11-2012 in the evening and i went to the bank on 07-11-2012 to pay challan but i couldn't pay the fee they are say your application id is not showing in online process. I have checked my application id in RRB Secunderabad website it's showing invalid id. So what should I do. Please tell me the solution as early as possible sir because 12-11-2012 is the last date.

If two photographs are not enclosed with RRB application, the application will be rejected or not? Please answer.
