Applications are invited in prescribed format on A-4 size bond paper of 80 GSM using one side only from eligible Indian Nationals for the following posts of TECHNICIANS.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS :
i) Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of written examination. Short-listed candidates will be called for verification of original documents according to merit, availability of vacancies and reservation rules.
ii)The standard of questions for the written examinations will be generally in conformity with the educational standards and/or technical qualifications prescribed for the posts. The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choice and are likely to include questions pertaining to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning and Technical Ability. The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and local languages as indicated in para 15 in pdf link. Duration of the examination will be 90 minutes with approximately 100 questions

i) Application form downloaded from the website.
ii) Applications complete in all respects along with required enclosures should be sent by Ordinary Post to the Railway Recruitment Boards concerned as mentioned in this notification(Refer the pdf link), so as to reach on or before 16.07.2012 up to 17.30 Hrs.
iii) The envelope containing the application should be clearly superscribed "Application for the Post/s of ______________________Category No/s.__________ Centralised Employment Notice No._________ & Community (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-SM)". If the post/s and category number/s is/are not indicated on the top of the envelope containing the application, the same will not be entertained.
