The Government of Tamil Nadu created a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for implementing the Chennai Metro Rail Project. This SPV named as “Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL)” was incorporated on 03-12-2007 under the Companies Act. CMRL requires efficient, experienced and competent officials for the following posts :

Qualifications :
Post No. 1 : Must be a Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Communication Engineering or a combination of any of these disciplines.
Post No. 2 : Must be a Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Communication Engineering or a combination of any of these disciplines or Equivalent degree.
Post No. 3 : Must be B.E/B.Tech/Post Graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (E.E.E) (OR) Electronics and Communication (ECE).
Post No. 4 : Must be B.E/B.Tech/Post Graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (E.E.E) (OR) Electronics and Communication (ECE).
Post No. 5 : He/She must be a PG Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management or ME in Industrial Safety Engg or BE in Fire and Safety Engineering or BE with advanced Safety Management Diploma or BE/ B.Arch with one year full time advanced safety diploma or BE/B.Tech full time degree with diploma in safety. International qualifications in CSP (Certified Safety Professional), NEBOSH, MISH, MISISO will be an added advantage.
Post No. 6 to 9 : Must be a Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering or Electronics or Communication Engineering or a combination of any of these disciplines or Equivalent degree .
Post No. 10 : Must be a B.E/B.Tech (Civil) graduate. Should
Post No. 14 : Must be a Graduate in Civil Engineering /Equivalent with 4 years of experience in Executive Grade.
Post No. 15 : Must be a Graduate with CA (Inter) /ICWA (Inter).

c) Applications should be submitted strictly as per the prescribed format.
d) Name of the post applied for, should be superscribed on the envelope containing the application.
e) The application should contain one recent passport size photograph pasted on the form, self-attested copy of proof of age, caste certificate in the prescribed format as applicable, degree certificate and experience certificate.
