Central Power Research Institute is a Centre for applied Research in Electrical Power Engineering assisting the Utilities in technical evaluation and quality assurance. Central Power Research Institute requires personnel for the following position purely on temporary basis for Projects/Consultancy/Field Works for SCADA/DMS Consultancy Projects under R-APDRP in Puducherry and various Districts of Andhra Pradesh.

1. Name of the post : Project Associates
No. of post : : Two
Requirement : Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Desirable : 2 years of post qualification experience in Electric Utility/Power Industry in the area of SCADA/Substation Automation either in Engineering or Field Installation & Commissioning.

2.Name of the post : Project Associate
No. of post :One
Requirement : Degree in Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Desirable : 2 years of post qualification experience in Electric Utility/Power Industry in the area of SCADA/Substation Automation/Utility Communications/Networking either in Engineering or Field Installation & Commissioning.

Emoluments : Rs.16,000 per month + HRA
Maximum Age : 30 years

Place of Posting : Out of 3 posts, 1 post is for Puducherry and 2 for Andhra Pradesh. Working knowledge of local languages (Telugu for Andhra Pradesh & Tamil for Puducherry) is desirable. The work involves extensive travel.

Tenure : The tenure of above posts is two years and extendable for another one year or till completion of Project whichever is earlier.
