The following positions of Research Associate/Lab Assistant in the time bound projects are to be filled at CPRI, Shimla purely on contractual basis which will be co-terminus with the projects as per the details given as under:

1) Name of the project : Pot Bio: Generating Biomarkers for breeding healthy Potatoes. (Upto 12/2012 but likely to extend)
Name of the post : Research Associate
Qualification : Essential: Ph. D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Botany.
Desirable : Experience of working with Analytical/ Biotechnological tools
Monthly emoluments : Rs. 22,000/- + 10% HRA per month
Age limit : 40 years for men and 45 years for women.

Name of the post : Lab Assistant
Qualification : Essential: 10+2 pass
Desirable : Experience in Life Science Laboratory work
Monthly emoluments : Consolidated salary of Rs. 6000/- per month
Age limit : 30 years for men and 35 years for women.

Name of the post : Typist cum Office Assistant
Qualification : Essential: Graduate with typing speed of 35 w.p.m.(in English)
Desirable : 2-3 years working experience in English on coputer and also good knowledge of computer.
Monthly emoluments : Consolidated salary of Rs. 5000/- per month
Age limit : 0 years for men and 35 years for women.
