Director, Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla, invites application from the Indian Citizen to fill the following posts, in Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla (HP), under the administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi. These posts are non-government but pensionable under the ‘New Pension Scheme’ as formulated by the Government of India. 1.Name of the post : Hindi Translator, T-3
Pay scale : Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs. 2800 (GP)

Essential qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Hindi as a subject from a recognized University, with three years’ experience in Science writing and Science journalism in the concerned language as evidenced by published material.
Desirable qualification :
i) Master Degree in Hindi or English
ii) Diploma in journalism.
iii) English as one of the subject at Bachelor’s level.

2.Name of the post : Technical Assistant (Stat.), T-3,
Pay scale : Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs. 2800 (GP)

Essential qualification : Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with Statistics as one of the subject.
Desirable qualification :
i) Post Graduate degree in Statistics or Economics from a recognized University.
ii) Diploma/short course in statistics (at least 6 months duration) from a reputed Institution.
iii) Working knowledge of MS office and statistical software(s).

3.Name of the post : Fitter, T-1
Pay scale : Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs. 2000 (GP)

Essential qualification : Matriculate with at least one year certificate in the fitter trade from a recognized institution.
Desirable qualification : Experience in fabrication and repair of agricultural implement.

Age limit : 18-30 years.
