Scoring and Ranking
** The result of candidates appearing for computer based test CMAT- 2012 will be displayed with SCORES and Rank secured in the All India merit list.
Score:
** The score will be calculated by assigning:
-- + 4 marks for the correct answer
-- - 1 mark for incorrect answer
-- 0 mark for no answer
** Candidates will be provided with scores for each section. A national merit ranking will be prepared based on the scores. In case scores are same for more than one candidate, the ranking will be based on sectional scores considered in the order of:
-- Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
-- Logical Reasoning
-- Language Comprehension
-- General Awareness
** In case more than one candidate secures same ranking as per the above criteria, the same Rank will be assigned to all of them but will be displayed by sorting their names alphabetically.
** The Rank of the subsequent candidate will then be shifted by the number of additional students having the same Rank. For example if three students are at 25th Rank then subsequent student will be ranked as 28th.
** All India merit list will be prepared and displayed in the public domain indicating Roll Number, Rank and the Scores.
** The candidates will be able to see and download their score cards indicating section wise marks scored, total marks scored and Rank in the All India merit list.
