Question :How can one submit the Application fees for Recruitment of Administrative Officers (Scale-I) – 2012 examination?
Answer : The fees can be deposited at any branch of INDIAN BANK using the Payment Challan generated during online Registration within 17.03.2012. The Payment challan would be generated in triplicate. Candidates must take the challan to any Indian Bank branch and deposit the fees. Indian Bank would retain the Bank’s Copy of the challan and returns two copies to the candidate (Candidate’s copy and NICL’s copy). Candidate would be required to hand-over NICL’s copy of the payment challan in original to the authorities during the examination hall on the date of the examination. Any candidate failing produce NICL’s copy of the Challan would not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Question :What are the Specification of Photograph and Signature to be uploaded?
Answer : Size limit is 50KB for photograph and 20 KB for signature. The acceptable format for the scanned image of the photograph and the signature would be JPEG / JPG and the image should be scanned using 200 DPI resolution. More information is available on the website.

Question :What is the last date for submitting the fees for Recruitment of Administrative Officers (Scale-I) – 2012 examination?
Answer : 17.03.2012

Question :What is the date of Examination for Recruitment of Administrative Officers (Scale-I) - 2012?
Answer : The examination would be held on 22 April, 2012(Sunday) and the duration would be 03 hours. The examination timing would be 10:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. Candidates have to report by 09:30 Am at the examination venue.

Question :How would I get the admit card for Recruitment of Administrative Officers (Scale-I) – 2012 examination?
Answer : Candidates must remain in constant touch with website http://www.nationalinsuranceindia.com for information regarding the Written Test/Admit Card/Result etc.

Question :May I appear for the Recruitment of Administrative Officers (Scale-I) - 2012 examination without my Admit Card?
Answer : No candidate is allowed to appear for the Recruitment of Administrative Officers (Scale-I) - 2012 exam without an admit card.

Question :I have misplaced my Application printout. Can I reprint the same?
Answer : Yes. Re-login and use the View & Print Application option to take a re-print of the application form.

Question :I have forgotten my Registration No. How can I retrieve it?
Answer : Go to the home page and click on Retrieve Registration no. and fill up the details asked for to get your registration no.

Question :While applying online, my system got crashed or page has shown error, should I press back button and apply?
Answer : No, you should close the site, relogin and fill up the details once again and complete the process.

Question :Since my system is not connected with printer, can I take the printout of challan later on?
Ans : Yes you can do it. You should login as registered user and take the printout of challan by clicking on appropriate button and take the print out but this whole process of printing challan and payment of fees should be done within 10 days of initial generation of challan, otherwise you will have to again login as new user and complete the process afresh.

is post graduate diploma (at least 1 yr) compulsory for both mech. & auto?

Students are not eligible to apply. You need to have qualified as on As on 01/01/2012).

PG diploma is required for A1 group not for A2 group.

Eligibility Conditions: (As on 01/01/2012).So you cant apply with your MBA for specialist. You can however apply with your BCA for generalist provided you satisfy other criteria.

how i will pay the fees. is there any challan required?

The candidate needs to go to the nearest Indian Bank Branch to deposit the appropriate fees in CASH only in Account No 6008050653 in favour of “National Insurance Co. Ltd”. Fees in Cash has to be paid within 10 days of registration or before closing date of receipt of online application / last date of online submission whichever is earlier. In case the candidate does not submit the fees within the said duration, his / her registration would be treated as invalid by the system. In such a case, the candidate has to undergo the earlier steps again and re-register him /her and obtain new registration credentials and the associated Payment Challan.

There is no mention of Tourism Management. Generalist post requires Graduates in any stream. You can apply for generalist post if you are a graduate.

HI, i belong to an OBC community... at the time of application , i was not sure if i belong to the non-creamy layer or not...now i understand that i am OBC creamy... i got shortlisted for interview... should i produce an OBC certificate stating that i belong to creamy and thus "not eligible for reservation"... should i have applied as general instead of OBC since i am creamy?? will my candidature be affected due to this?
