PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2012

Sub: Green Bengal

Guidelines and Rules : The competition will have two sections – black & white (Monochrome Print) and colour. Prints, both monochrome and colour, of 18" x 12" size, to be submitted along with a high-resolution soft copy in CD format. Entrants can send a maximum number of 4 different photographs for each section. Each entry should carry the photographer’s name, postal address, telephone number/s and caption of the photograph on the back of the print.

Prizes (for both sections) :
1st prize : Rs. 10,000/-,
2nd prize : Rs. 7,000/-,
3rd prize : Rs. 5,000/-.
5 special prizes : Rs. 2,000/- each.
Prizes will be handed over only on receipt of the original award winning negatives/ digital images.

Last date of receipt of entries is 31.01.2012 up to 5 p.m.

The entries should be superscribed with the words “Photo Competition”, addressed to the
Director of Information,
I & CA Department,
Govt. of West Bengal,
Kolkata Information Centre, 1/1 A.J.C Bose Road,
Kolkata-700020.

Entries received after the closing date will not be entertained. I & CA Department will not be responsible for any damage or loss in transit. A minimum of 25 entries in each section is required, failing to which the contest in that section will be cancelled. Decision of the Judges will be final. I & CA Department reserves the right to use the photographs in exhibitions or any other means of publicity. Competition is open to all excepting the employees of I & CA Department and their relatives.
