PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
Sub: Biswa Bangla

Guidelines and Rules :
The competition has two sections – Black & White (Monochrome Print) and Colour. Prints, both monochrome and colour, of 18" x 12" size to be submitted along with a high-resolution soft copy in CD. Entrants can send a maximum number of 4 different photographs for each section.

Each entry should carry the photographer's name, postal address, telephone number/s and caption of the photograph on the back of the print.

Prizes (for both sections):
1st prize: Rs. 12,000/-
2nd prize: Rs. 9,000/-
3rd prize: Rs. 7,000/-
5 special prizes: Rs. 4,000/- each.

Last date of receipt of entries is 01.12.2014 up to 4 p.m.

The entries should be superscribed with the words "Photo Competition", addressed to the
Director of Information,
Information & Cultural Affairs Department,
Government of West Bengal,
Exhibition Wing, 72, Deshapran Shasmal Road,
Kolkata- 700033.

Entries received after the closing date will not be entertained. Information & Cultural Affairs Department will not be responsible for any damage or loss in transit. A minimum of 25 entries in each section is required, failing which the contest in that section will be cancelled. Decision of the Judges will be final.

Information & Cultural Affairs Department reserves the right to use the photographs in exhibitions or any other means of publicity. Competition is open to all excepting the employees and their relatives of Information & Cultural Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal.
