The Cochin University of Science and Technology invites applications from qualified hands for appointment as Programmer for the e-Governance project. The appointment will be on contract basis for a period initially for 3years or till regular appointments are made. Interested candidates may submit their applications using the format given below along with self attested copies of the documents to prove age, educational qualifications, experience, community, fee receipt/ DD etc.
The details of the posts are as below.

1. Name of the Post : Programmer for E-Governance
Number of Vacancies : 2
Mode of appointment : Contract basis (Initially for three years or till regular appointments are made)
Consolidated Pay : Rs.40,000/- p.m.

Qualifications:
Educational: B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology with First class (full time regular course) OR MCA with First class (full time regular course)
Experience:
1. Minimum 3 years experience in open source technology on environment like PHP, Python or Java.
2. Using RDBMS tools in MYSQL and / or Postgress.
3. Operating Systems platforms LINUX.
Experience to be from Government / University or reputed organizations / institutions
