Essential Qualifications :
Surveyor :
i) Matric or its equivalent from a recognized Board of School Education/Institution duly recognized by the Central/HP Govt.
ii) Two Years Certificate Course in the trade of Survey work from a recognized ITI/Institution duly recognized by the Central /HP Govt.
Desirable: Knowledge of custom, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Field Investigator : Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Arts with Economics/Statistics/Mathematics as one of the elective subject or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or its equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Junior Draughtsman :
i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a Board of School Education/University recognized by the HP Govt.
ii) At least two Years Certificate Course in the trade of Draughtsman ship or its equivalent from an ITI or from other technical Institution duly recognized by the Central or HP Govt.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Electrician : Matric or its equivalent with ITI certificate in Electrician trade.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh

Lineman : Matric with ITI certificate in Wireman/Electrician trade or any higher qualification in the same trade from the Institution recognized by the HP Govt.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Sub Station – Attendant : Matric or its equivalent with ITI certificate in Electrician trade.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
