The Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd. (HPSIDC) invites applications from candidates for the following posts to be filled on contract basis and on consolidated contract amount

Total Post : Junior Engineer (Civil)
No. of post: 3 – of which one post is reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates and two postsfor General category candidates.
Pay Scale : Rs. 10300 – 34800 + GP Rs.3800/-Permissible contractual amount payable - Rs. 14100/-

Essential Minimum Educational qualifications. : Minimum 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution or University OR equivalent.

Desirable qualifications :
1. 1-2 years professional experience.
2. Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the Peculiar Conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age : The applicants must be above the age of 18 years and below 35 years as on the last date of receipt/ submission of applications.

Fee : The application must be accompanied with a non-refundable application fee of Rs.200/-(Rupees two hundred only) for general category candidates & Rs. 100/- (Rupees hundred only) for SC candidates. in the shape of a Bank Draft/Pay Order in favour of HPSIDC Ltd. payable at Shimla.

Applications of candidates not fulfilling the terms & conditions as enumerated in this advertisement will be summarily rejected. The Managing Director further reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.

Terms & Conditions :
1. The applicants must be bonafide residents of Himachal Pradesh.
2. The selection shall be made on the basis of viva-voce and in case the number of applicants exceeds more than five times the number of vacancies, a screening/written test shall also be conducted and the short-listed candidates shall thereafter be called for viva-voce. The final merit of the candidates shall be drawn accordingly. A Selection Committee shall be constituted by the Managing Director of the HPSIDC for the purpose of selection to the above posts. The decision of the Managing Director shall be final and binding with regard to selection of suitable candidate(s) for the ibid posts.
3. The contractual appointment shall initially be for a period of one year which may be renewed on a yearly basis at the discretion of the Corporation.
4. The incumbent(s) selected shall execute an agreement/contract deed as may be prescribed by the Corporation. The detailed terms & conditions of appointment shall be specified in the said agreement/contract deed.
5. The incumbents shall have no right to claim regularization/permanent absorption as such in the Corporation at any stage during the course of employment
6. No TA/DA will be payable to candidates appearing in the test/interview.
7. Selected candidate(s) shall be liable to serve anywhere in Himachal Pradesh/India.
