NOTICE OF JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION TO MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (MCA) COURSE, 2013 (JECA – 2013)

Admission to MCA Course offered by the different Government/Private Engineering Colleges, Universities and Institutions of the State of West Bengal during the academic session 2013-2014 is open to candidates who are Indian citizens and who have either passed or are appearing in the Bachelor’s degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics /Statistics/Computer Science/Business Mathematics as one of the subjects subject to the condition that they have to appear and qualify in the Written Test to be conducted by the “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.”

The written test will be held on SUNDAY, the 23rd June, 2013. All questions will be objective and answer scripts (OMR) will be machine evaluated. The pattern of question, syllabus and other details will be available in the Information Brochure to be supplied along with the application Form.

This admission to MCA course will be governed by the reservation policy of the State Government. There is no restriction regarding age of the candidates.

APPLICATION : Candidates intending to appear in the said Joint Entrance- 2013 shall have to apply in a prescribed form which will be available from 29.04.2013 to 18.05.2013 from the Branches of ALLAHABAD BANK (list enclosed) on all working days including Saturday(during banking hours) on payment of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees five hundred) only in CASH. Application form once sold cannot be returned or replaced.

SUBMISSION : The duly filled in application form has to be sent by Speed Post only so as to reach the Office of the Board by 20.05.2013.
