INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES FOR THE JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2014 FOR ADMISSION TO MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION (MCA) COURSE (JECA- 2014)

Applicants seeking admission to the First Semester of the Six Semester, Master of Computer Application Course in any of the following Institutes will have to appear in a written test as specified above. There would be two papers in the examination as stated above. The syllabus for both Mathematics and Aptitude test has been prescribed in this Information Brochure. All questions will be objective and answer scripts (OMR) will be machine evaluated. ELIGIBILITY

Age :
There are no lower and upper age restrictions.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Candidates intending to appear in JECA- 2014 shall have to apply online at www.wbjeeb.in, the official website of the Board within 20-06-2014 to 02-07-2014.

After completion of the on-line form filling, a Confirmation Page and an e-challan will be generated. Both are to be downloaded by the candidate. Thereafter the e-challan has to be submitted at any branch of Allahabad Bank with Rs. 506/- in cash (Application fee: Rs. 500/-, Bank charges: Rs. 6/-only).

Finally, the confirmation sheet, along with the Bank Copy of the e-challan duly endorsed by the Bank, should be put in an A4 size white envelope, sealed and sent by Speed Post/Courier Service or deposited by hand to the following address:

The application should reach the Board Office on or before 05.07.2014. Applications reaching the Board Office after 05.07.2014 shall stand cancelled.

No Caste Certificate, Mark sheet and other relevant papers are required to be sent along with the Application Form. Necessary documents will have to be produced at the time of counselling and admission. The applicants are advised to retain with them a photo copy of the filled in application form for future reference.

ADMISSION:
It should be noted that the Board is in no way responsible for admission of students to different Universities / Institutions. The Board only prepares the merit list of the admission test and allot candidates to different Institutions on the basis of their merits and choice of Institutions in order of preference through counselling, The Board neither publishes nor communicates result to any individual applicant. The merit list will be circulated on the Board’s website: www.wbjeeb.in. There is no provision for post-publication scrutiny or review and hence the Board will not entertain any such application.

No merit listed candidate will be allowed to appear at the counseling unless he / she is able to produce Admit Card issued by the Board with proper unmutilated / undistorted / unsoiled photograph.

Compliance with requirements for application for the Joint Entrance Examination does not make a candidate eligible for admission to the concerned University / Institution.
