Academic Projects Mini Project : OP-AMP Based Trainer Kit Our project was to make an OP-Amp trainer kit which could help students easily find the output of various OP-AMP based circuits such as Differential Amplifier, Differentiator, Integrator and few others. The Gain of these circuits could be changed by changing the resistance and capacitance values, with the help of control knobs. Successfully completing this project in a team of 4 members helped me enhance my communication and team working skills. Main Project : RF-ID Based Security System. We successfully designed and fabricated a Non-Contact type security system which enabled the ID card holder to simply walk through a RF-ID field in order to be granted or rejected entry into a room. Details of the card holder were stored in a microcontroller placed within the ID card. Details of the person will be sent to a master computer, that will decide to grant permission or not. The master computer’s display will show the card holder’s details. Employment and training History During summer break of my Bachelor’s degree, I got the opportunity to undergo Industrial Training at TCC Ltd. I had the privilege and opportunity to see in real, all the instruments and control methods that I had only studied from text books. The practical knowledge and experience gained during this training period helped me understand my modules of study and have a wider perspective of the topics being taught in the course. Computer Knowledge * Languages: C, C++ * Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 98 * Software: MATLAB, SIMULINK, MS Office 2000, 2003 and Office XP Achievements * Offered Job Placement at Mphasis (an EDS co.) through various assessment procedures. I was one among 46 out of 1000 students who got placed.
