[B][U]Essential qualification [/U][/B]:First class post graduate with Ph.D. in relevant discipline and having consistently very good academic record
[B][U]Additional Desirable requirements [/U][/B]:One publication in an SCI Journal

[B][U]Other essential requirements [/U][/B]: One paper accepted for publication in SCI Journal 
[B][U]Additional Desirable requirements [/U][/B]:Two papers in SCI journals or one patent; may be based on Ph.D. work

[B][U]Relevant experience [/U][/B]: 03 years after Ph.D. or 06 years total (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech. degree 
[B][U]Other essential requirements [/U][/B]: 02 papers in SCI journals outside Ph.D. work. One ongoing sponsored project for candidates from academia. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate.
[B][U]Additional Desirable requirements [/U][/B]: One Ph.D. supervision ongoing; 01 Patent; Experience in industry or R & D lab of repute; M.Tech., M.Sc. or B.Tech. project supervision on live industrial  problems.

[B][U]Common Essential Educational Requirements [/U][/B]: 
1 Superior academic record at all levels from high school onwards.
[B][U]2 For Engineering disciplines[/U][/B]: First class in BE/B.Tech./B.Arch. or equivalent and in ME/M.Tech./M.Arch. or equivalent with PhD in relevant discipline. B. Tech. with direct Ph.D. may also be considered.
[B][U]3 For Non-Engineering disciplines[/U][/B]: Ph.D. degree with first class degree at UG & PG level.
4 Candidates from Industry (or comparable organisations) without Ph.D. degree: Such candidates may be considered for recruitment as Assistant Professor, if he/she has substantial professional and R&D experience supported with good number of publications in leading journals of the field, the candidate being the lead author.

[B][U]Application fee   [/U][/B]: For Gen/OBC candidates will be Rs. 500/- and for SC/ST/PWD candidates will Rs. 250/-. For the candidates applying from abroad, application fee will be USD 50$.
 The application fee can be submitted in form of DD in favour of “Director, National Institute of Technology, Raipur” payable at Raipur OR online payment can also be made.
