  Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Lab Assistant-cum-Office Assistant in Department of Biomedical Engineering, IIT Ropar on contract basis for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to performance of the candidate.

[B][U]Name of the post [/U][/B]: Junior Lab Assistant-cum-Office Assistant 
[B][U]Emoluments[/U][/B]: Rs. 20,000/- (Approx.) per month.

[B][U]Essential Qualification(s) and experience[/U][/B]:
 1. A Bachelors degree or three years diploma in biology related subjects (Life Sciences, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology etc.)
 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
 
 [B][U]Desirable[/U][/B]:
 1. Knowledge of Computer Applications
 2. About Two years experience in working in Biology Laboratory.
