The following positions of Research Associate/Lab Assistant in the time bound projects are to be filled at CPRI, Shimla purely on contractual basis which will be co-terminus with the projects as per the details given as under:

[B]1) Name of the project  [/B]: Pot Bio: Generating Biomarkers for breeding healthy Potatoes. (Upto 12/2012 but likely to extend)
[B]Name of the post   [/B]: Research Associate
[B]Qualification  [/B]: Essential: Ph. D. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Botany.
[B]Desirable [/B]: Experience of working with Analytical/ Biotechnological tools
[B]Monthly emoluments  [/B]: Rs. 22,000/- + 10% HRA per month
[B]Age limit  [/B]: 40 years for men and 45 years for women.

[B]Name of the post   [/B]: Lab Assistant 
[B]Qualification  [/B]: Essential: 10+2 pass
[B]Desirable [/B]: Experience in Life Science Laboratory work
[B]Monthly emoluments  [/B]: Consolidated salary of Rs. 6000/- per month
[B]Age limit  [/B]: 30 years for men and 35 years for women.
