The objectives of the pilot were to increase financial recovery on defective and damaged products, reduce volume of waste sent to landfill, and create value to our customers.
This project has been initiated to improve the accuracy of forecasting using Fine lines. To do so, changes to corporate systems and EQUITY will be made and which will affect the transmission of 52 weeks of national sales by Fineline from corporate systems to EQUITY. Thus allowing, within EQUITY, store forecasts by Fineline be calculated using the national sales against store sales for each Fineline.

Data residing in SQL Server, DB2 and flat files are consolidated onto target warehouse database built on Oracle 9i.
