PROJECT PROFILE [/B]:
AUTOMATIC SPEAKER RECOGNITION
 Speaker Recognition Technology is expected to create new services and make our daily life more convenient. It is used to identify or verify a person by his/her voice. There are two phases training and testing, where in training phase we make the system to learn about all the speakers and in testing we try to compare unknown voices with registered one.
 Once the feature extraction is done, feature vector are obtained and then this are clustered by using LBG algorithm and the codebook which is developed is compared with the speaker database. Final decision is taken by taking the total VQ distortion in to consideration.
