Their first store was launched in Feb'2006 in Mumbai by the name of Croma. Woolworth's role is to provide supply chain services and doing store planning by using their expertise, whereas Infiniti is responsible for retail operations.
Job Profile of Woolworth India Ltd. 
1. Supervise, monitor and control the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, distribution, and shipping products or materials. 
2. The inventory professional must implement and follow a control system to reduce damage, breakage & inventory obsolescence.
3. Ensure timely dispatch of goods based on allocation drops into the DC, as per KPI set for the 3PL
4. Identifying and liquidating excess inventory, CDC operational costs are controlled within and/or below budgeted parameters
5. Develop cost optimization measures in the DC operations Train 3PL staff on a day-to-day basis.
6. Perform administrative tasks of the DC and ensure timely movement of paperwork to the corporate office.
7. Conduct weekly meetings in the DC and provide feedback to measure performance of the 3PL.
8. Responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels
9. Responsible for assisting in the receiving and shipping department in logging all incoming/outgoing inventory purchase.
10. Must maintain a record of all transfers and disposal, CDC Customer service standards are achieved and continuously improved
11. Monitor, Inspect and give feed back to 3PL on cycle and full stock take reports and control shrinkage in DC as per KPI set for the 3PL
12. Ensure service levels AT depots by monitoring min-max stock norms for all SKUs
 Specific focus on service levels of Innovation / Low Vol SKUs
13. Monitor & review replenishment of Inter Regional stocks “Supply & Receipt”
14. Ensure timely receipt of goods into the warehouse as per the KPI set for the 3PL
15. Interview, select, train, develop, monitor and control all warehouse supervisory personnel.

17. Review with C & F Agent and ensure Health and Safety measures are in place at CDC, Appropriately manage all CDC related human and equipment resource requirements.
18. Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.
19. Confer with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities and developments, such as HR, logistics, sales, commercial, distribution, IT and Coordinating for Audits at RDCs by internal / external agencies as per company's Requirements
20. Review and verify invoices and purchase requisitions, work orders, consumption and other reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak and slow delivery periods to optimize work assignments, Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report, manpower status report to Respective Managers.
