Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing, planning, directing and coordinating all functions involved with purchasing, expediting, material control and warehousing at the job sites. Maintain liaison between project engineering, suppliers, field management and clients. Supervision and control of all material receiving, storage, issuance and inventory control, including the followings: To unload the arrived material at storage area. To unpack received cargoes. To inspect the received material to check if there is any damage, shortage and/or nonconformance, including preparation of Excess/Shortage/Damage/Nonconformance Report. To keep the materials properly protected and preserved and maintained. To set up and update the material storage location plan for each item of bulk materials. To check physical inventory quantity in proper time if there is any difference of inventory quantity between SMS data and the actual data. To feed back all field data such as received, issued, returned and inventory quantities for updating SMS data. Ensures that in warehouse area, the dangerous or fragile cargoes are handled properly and the items requiring a protection are stored in accordance with MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
Material scheduling and Spool Control System according to the activities. Reasonable knowledge of Engineering Specs. and material identification, responsibility included release of material according to Isometrics for spool fabrication.
Receives and summarizes collecting vouchers from main contract. Collects materials from main contractor's warehouse as per voucher summary. Make sure that all materials to be collected are in conformity with those indicated in the vouchers. Inspects thoroughly all materials to be collected; i.e., item code, color code, size, thickness, heat number, traceability and other specifications. Responsible for monitoring contractors piping materials for the project. Monitor and control the physical state, storage and preservation of piping materials until incorporate into the works. Monitor the movement of materials to site from vendor's yards and on work sites. Ensure that all documents related to materials control are properly managed. Supervises the receipt, storage and distribution of materials, supplies, tools and equipment. Monitors daily ins and outs of materials and supplies through computerized inventory system. Designs and implements systematic numbering system according to predetermined sequence for all materials and spare parts to ensure efficiency in material handling. Based on production schedule, analyses and reviews on hand stocks to ensure availability of materials required, to avoid stock shortages and to set allowances for order lead time. Prepares monthly inventory report submitted directly to Project Manager and Accounting Department for cost analysis. Conducts quarterly physical inventory on all items to ensure accuracy of balance of stocks Track of receipts & issue of material to site and prefabrication. Generate reports such as daily stock, monthly stock ledger etc. regarding availability of stocks being requested. Supervises handling and storage of finished products to stockroom according to types, measurements, usage and colors. Monitors necessary documents concerning warehouse activities such as Receiving Report, Material Requisition and Issuance Slip, Purchase Order, etc. Balances load distribution among subordinates.
 
Job Objective
