JOB PROFILE PIPING ENGINEER 
[b]MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES [/b]:-
- Preparation of G.A Drawings and Isometrics based on P&ID and plant layout.
- Pipe supports and Rack design, Expansion loop design.
- Piping Material Selection/Specification/Valve Data Sheets.
- Pressure design of Process Piping and Component as per ASME B 31.3 [Straight Pipe, Flanges, Elbows and Miter bends, Reinforced branch connections, Blanks, Blind flanges, Expansion joints].
- Hydraulic Design of liquid piping system (pipe sizing, pressure drop calculation & pump head selection).
- Generating line list, critical line list for stress analysis from the P & IDs. 
- Co-ordination with other departments in-house, with the Client & Vendors.
- Creating & maintaining projects in PDMS.
- Calculating Bill of material from the P & ID.
- Piping flexibility of analysis using code equations, guided cantilever method, Graphs Nomo graphs, M.W Kellogg charts & CAESER II.

- Auto CAD 2008 & 2010.
