Coordinate and initiate policy and ensure implementation throughout length and breadth of the Country.

[b]Job Accountabilities [/b]: Organise logistics (for Perishables, Petroleum Products, Transport) including Forecasting, Planning, Procurement/Provisioning, Stocking and all aspects concerned with management of supply chain for an approx strength of 32000 personnel to include both macro and micro management in the region of North Bengal and Sikkim, over various modes of transportation, terrain and weather conditions. 
- Auditing stock levels, forecasting, planning and placement of demands of all types of logistic needs.
- Organise move of thousands of tonnes of stores from plain regions to High altitude through road transport including organising labour, infrastructure for stocking and formulating procedures for issue and monitoring utilisation.

- Implemented a fleet management MIS module to monitor availability, location of the transport fleet.

[b]Aug 2003-Jun 2005 [/b]: Commanding Officer (CEO) Supply Depot : Independently commanded & administered a logistic (supply) depot holding over Rs 15 Million worth of Rations & Foodstuffs, Petroleum products and other stores catering to the logistic requirements of over 5000 Personnel and 2,000 vehicles. Implemented a very high degree of vendor management and implementation of contracts through a team of highly motivated individuals by way of transparent dealings, Integrity and personal example. [b]May 2002 – Dec 2002  [/b]: As Second-in-Command (Deputy CEO) of an ad-hoc unit raised for the war effort during ‘OP PARAKRAM’, was responsible to Coordinate efforts for hiring of approx 3000 load carriers, involving close liaison with Govt agencies in various Districts of the States/UT of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. Tasks were accomplished in record timings with flawless precision.

[b](Associate CEO) Animal Transport Unit  [/b]: As Officer Commanding of an Animal Transport unit in Kargil was responsible for movement of logistics requirements to far flung outposts in extremely difficult and inhospitable terrain of Ladakh region, requiring high levels of management skills for both of men and animals.
